Vinitaly 2026 – A Special Moment for the Cremisan Winery

On the occasion of Vinitaly 2026, the renowned winemaker Riccardo Cotarella, while presenting the wines from the many wineries he collaborates with around the world, chose to dedicate a special moment to the Cremisan Winery.
During the event, experts were invited to taste one of the most representative and prestigious wines of Palestine: Baladi, a symbol of an ancient winemaking tradition rich in cultural value.
Two tastings were organized: the main paid tasting also had an important charitable purpose. All proceeds were donated to the Cremisan Winery, which is currently facing significant difficulties due to the war. Restrictions, closures, and the absence of tourists have greatly limited the winery’s operations, making wine distribution extremely challenging, with many bottles remaining stored in the cellar.
The entire initiative was organized by Stefano Cimicchi. The Cremisan Winery was represented by Don Gianni Caputa, a Salesian priest and one of the key figures who introduced Riccardo Cotarella to the reality of Cremisan, helping to initiate this important collaboration.
